Phillip Island Nature Parks – Churchill Island
Phillip Island
Journey back in time and experience a piece of Victoria’s heritage on this tiny historic island! Churchill Island Heritage Farm is a working farm that boasts significant natural and cultural values with world-class wetlands, ancient Moonah trees, heritage gardens and historic buildings.
Churchill Island has been farmed since the 1850s and is an easy drive via a bridge from Phillip Island and a perfect stop on the way to the Penguin Parade.
Explore the restored homestead, the fragrant heritage gardens, lawns and coastline walks with magnificent views of Phillip Island and Westernport.
Experience the daily heritage farming activities including black smithing, cow milking, sheep shearing, whip cracking and working dogs. Watch our Highland Cattle grazing or say hello to Andrew peacock and keep an eye out for the cheeky goats, Timmy and Tiger.
