Babajis Kerala Kitchen Warburton
YARRA VALLEY & DANDENONG RANGES
Just 90 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD in the most picturesque of locations in the Yarra Valley, Chef’s Hatted Babaji’s Kerala Kitchen specialises in ‘homely style’ cuisine from the tropical Southern Indian state of Kerala.
Set in a romantic 1930s cabaret dance hall, views of the mountains surround diners as they enjoy a South Indian feast served on fresh banana leaf, with some freshly made Kerala Parotta. Sit by the open fires in winter, with a hot chai, after you’ve visited Melbourne’s closest snow at Mount Donna Buang or in the beer garden in summer, overlooking the Yarra River with a glass of Yarra Valley wine and a dosa.
This friendly team is proud to bring the best of two cultures together, both Indian and Aussie with its award-winning food and warm Yarra Valley country hospitality.
Babajis Warburton has a sister restaurant in Belgrave, in the Dandenong Ranges.
