Take a ride on one of the handcarved wooden horses or relax and enjoy the spectacular views overlooking Corio Bay towards Melbourne and the You Yangs Regional Park, a significant cultural landscape in the traditional Country of the Wadawurrung People. The c.1892 Carousel was made in New York by the Armitage-Herschell Company and is one of only 200 in operation today. The fully restored Carousel includes 36 Dare horses and two accessible chariots. Also at the Carousel is a replica Band Organ, providing visitors with carnival-style music and the 1890 Herschell-Spillman Steam Engine, which originally powered the Carousel.
